Give an old garment a fresh look! This class will take a pre-existing hoodie or sweater and show you how to create quilted sleeves and/or pocket. This class will go over the best way to achieve a classic checkerboard look. This project is a great stash buster or way to use up small scraps of fabric you don't want to let go of yet!
- Must know how to use a sewing machine or be prepared to quilt by hand
- Bring one hoodie or sweatshirt to upcycle (no knitwear!)
- Bring a total of 1 yard of fabric (made up of different fabrics you want to create your quilted look with!)
- Bring a seam ripper if you have one! If not the shop will be able to provide one.
