Circle Sampler Beginning Embroidery
Ages 13 and up. Skill level -- beginner.
Learn basic embroidery stitches and make a sampler showcasing your new stitches!
Fabric, floss, needles, and snips will be provided. Participants need to bring (or buy at Craft Raccoon before class) a 5" or larger embroidery hoop.
What you'll learn: running stitch, threaded running stitch, whipped running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, couching, blanket stitch, and French knots.

Mixed Media Art Journaling
Mixed Media Art Journaling is a beginner-level class for people new to mixed media art as well as those looking to broaden their art skills through play and experimentation. We’ll discuss the basics of art journaling as well as go over different art media, picking the right journal, where to find paper ephemera (as well as how to make our own), and more. The only rule is that there are no rules!
Cost includes a 20-page mixed media journal, an ephemera pack, and basic art supplies to use during class
